What We Provide with Every Puppy

Health Guarantee Coverage

Congenital and Hereditary Conditions

This guarantee covers life limiting congenital or hereditary conditions that are diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and confirmed by a second veterinarian of our choice. A life limiting condition is one that severely impacts normal quality of life or expected lifespan despite appropriate care.

Examples may include certain serious heart, organ, or structural defects present from birth. Each case is evaluated individually based on medical records and confirmation.

Remedies Under This Guarantee

If a covered condition is confirmed within the coverage period, Summer Doberman Pinscher will offer one of the following remedies, at our discretion:

• Replacement puppy from a future litter when available, of equal value, after return of the affected dog if requested.
• Refund of the purchase price, in full or in part, depending on the circumstances and documentation, after return of the affected dog if requested.
• Credit toward a future puppy, to be used within a specified period, depending on availability and agreement.

Veterinary fees, transportation costs, and related expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. Replacement timing depends on breeding plans and availability. Temperament, gender, color, and markings cannot be guaranteed in a replacement.

What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

This guarantee is meant to protect against serious health issues present from birth, not every possible condition that can occur in a growing puppy. The following are not covered:

• Illness caused by parasites after placement, including but not limited to giardia, coccidia, or kennel cough.
• Stress related digestive upset during transition, including temporary loose stool.
• Injuries, accidents, neglect, abuse, or improper supervision.
• Issues related to poor nutrition, obesity, over exercise, or inappropriate activity for a growing puppy.
• Failure to follow vaccination schedules or failure to obtain routine veterinary care.
• Conditions that are treatable and non life limiting, as determined by veterinary evaluation.
• Normal variations in size, weight, ear set, bite development, coat, or cosmetic features.
• Behavior issues caused primarily by lack of training, lack of socialization, harsh handling, or inconsistent boundaries.

Spay, Neuter, and Breeding Terms

If your puppy is placed as a companion, we may require a spay or neuter agreement. Any breeding rights, if offered, must be in writing and included in the purchase agreement. Breeding a puppy sold as companion only will void this Health Guarantee.

Care Requirements to Maintain the Guarantee

To keep this guarantee valid, the buyer agrees to:

• Provide routine veterinary care and maintain age appropriate vaccinations.
• Feed a quality diet suitable for large breed puppies and provide fresh water at all times.
• Keep the puppy in a safe home environment with proper shelter and supervision.
• Use positive, consistent training and provide appropriate socialization.
• Notify Summer Doberman Pinscher promptly if a serious health concern arises.
• Provide complete veterinary records if a claim is requested.

How to Make a Claim

To start a claim, please contact us as soon as possible with your full name, the puppy's name, date of pickup, a written description of the concern, veterinary records, diagnosis, test results, and contact information for your veterinarian.

We may request a second opinion and additional diagnostics to confirm the condition.

Transparency and Communication

We believe in clear, respectful communication. If your puppy experiences a serious medical issue, we want to know. We will review records promptly and work with you toward a fair resolution based on this guarantee and medical confirmation.

This Health Guarantee is designed to support the puppy's wellbeing and set clear expectations for both the breeder and the buyer. It becomes effective on the date the puppy leaves our care and is non transferable unless approved in writing.
